Before we judge Samson, let’s be honest about ourselves. How many times have you seen a strong guy turn weak just like this? He thinks, One hit’s not going to kill me. Or, I’m just going to take one of these pills to see what it feels like. Or, I’ll just stay for one drink. He thinks, I can handle it. But before he even realizes it, some substance is handling him.

Faith and family still come first for America’s most famous outdoor family.

Rogue Warriors For God

author, Kenny Luck (Everyman Ministries)

But you, man of God…fight the good fight of faith. -1 Tim. 6:11-12

Who will you become? Will you discover your true reason for living, enter the battle, and become a new man in Christ? Or will you settle for less than God’s desire for you? That’s your decision. No one can make it for you.

But to become more like Christ, you will have to embrace a new way of living. This kind of can-do attitude is what the Navy SEALs look for in a man. In many ways SEALs are rogue warriors. Totally unconventional.

Guys who will do anything to win the battle. SEALs live by a different code that is guided by a set of unwavering commitments, such as:

     • Total commitment to what they believe, risking everything for   those beliefs
     • Making clear what they believe to others
     • Being always easy to find; at the center of the battle

The Apostle Paul was tough and uncompromising. He held to a code that defined his life. He lived on purpose, not by accident.

If you choose to become this kind of man, made new and unwilling to compromise, then let the great Apostle Paul lead the way. In 1 Corinthians 4:16, he said, “Therefore I urge you to imitate me.”

Will you do it?
